Hi thank you for your interest.
For sale a 56’ Tug Bow narrowboat with a cruiser stern, built 2010 and first launched in 2012. She has been stripped back to the insulation and will require the topsides to be finished, but the steelwork is in good condition (hull survey available on request).
The Tug bow is ideal for al-fresco dining or for keeping a motorcycle or scooter or two aboard while cruising, using either a loading ramp or fitting a crane.
The Stern Tube is newly replaced, along with the zincs and the hull has been blacked as can be seen in the photos.
The engine is a Barrus Shire and is overspecified in terms of power so will cruise happily at just over tickover revs, making for relaxed and quiet cruising.
The boat is fully insulated with closed cell foam insulation. A Bowthruster is fitted but is non-functional at this time.
A new BSSC and CRT registration will be supplied upon purchase.
Would be ideal as a liveaboard project for someone to fit out to their own specifications.
I am selling this on behalf of my father, who lived aboard for 12 years from 2012 to 2014, but failing health caused him to be unable to keep up maintainance. Since Inheriting it I have stripped the boat out.
