Autumn is an open-plan layout narrowboat perfect to live aboard in London. Light and airy, spacious and perfectly sized for cruising around the canals. It is a 47ft stern cruiser narrowboat built in 1975. It is a comfortable, clean, and tidy home with lots of storage, ready to move on in the next few weeks.
It has been my sweet home for the last 4 years, selling her since I am moving back to land.

OUTDOOR SPACE:
Autumn is blessed with an unusually big bow and stern deck. This means you’ve got plenty of space to chill in the bow as an extension of your living room and plenty of space to cruise with friends. In summary, you've got:
- A large stern-deck which is very comfortable when cruising the boat with friends
- The bow deck is unusually big with a bench and storage, great in summer to chill and convenient in winter to store coal and wood logs.
- The roof is steel and can be used as a sitting or storage area.
- Fully repainted in summer 2022
+ HULL +
- Out of the water survey available
- Last blacked May 2021 - booked in for Blacking at P&S Marina in September 2024. Deposit already paid.
+ ENGINE +

- New starter motor in November 2021
- Alternator reconditioned in January 2024

- Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT 100/20 solar charge controller installed in April 2020
- 12V running throughout the boat: car plugs for USB charge in living room and bedroom
- 12V warm light LED lights are fitted throughout the boat with one switch per area
- 240V wires laid and inverter available, but I never got it connected as I’ve lived fine with 12V.
- 240V plug available in the living and kitchen area
+ GAS +
- There is an instant water gas heater for the shower, as well as both sinks in the bathroom and the kitchen.
- The gas installation also feeds the cooking hobs and the oven
- The gas locker can contain one 13kg bottle and is located on the stern deck which makes it very accessible.
+ WATER +
- 500L steel water tank located at the bow of the boat, which lasts approx. 4 weeks for a regular 1-person use (shower, dishes, cooking). Stop-valve easily accessible from the bow deck.
- Water pump fitted under the bathroom sink for easy access (newly fitted in August 2022)
+ UPCOMING WORK +
- The boat needs blacking this year, currently booked in for a slot in P&S Marina in Watford in September. I’ve been there in 2021 and had a great experience, so I would recommend using this slot (deposit paid for).
- If I were to stay longer on the boat, I’d probably get a new cratch cover made.
+ FINAL THOUGHTS +
- Fully set for continuous cruising and with its handy size ready to nip into mooring spaces and turns around almost anywhere.
- She comes with mooring pins, gangplank, barge pole and windlass
- The boat is on a continuous cruising license and is currently moored by Hackney Mashes and I am available to arrange viewings.
