Bimba is a true blue water cruiser, very stable and smooth, made to sail the high seas in comfort and safety. She's just the right size for two to handle easily but can be comfortably sailed single handed. She can sleep six and can seat six at the saloon table. She’s one of the few (2?) original Tradewind 39s left. She was purchased in 2013 and we have been refitting and upgrading continuously since then. All wiring is new Marine Grade, cabin and Masthead nav Lights are all LEDs, all 3 SS fuel tanks are new, new spray hoods (x2), she was completely repainted, new Bow Thruster with it's own Batteries & Charger, new Cooker, LP Gas Deck box, new toilet and hoses, new Radar, Chartplotter, GPS, EPIRB, AIS, Life Raft, Gearbox, new DC Electrical Panel, anchor windlass was rebuilt, 3 new Bilge Pumps, new Fresh Water Pump, new water & fuel hoses, cockpit sheet winches were rebuilt, all 3 mast winches are new, the cabin heater was rebuilt, new Storm Jib, new rigging, Boom & kicker. Located in Gibraltar she's in an ideal place for cruising the Med, heading north for Portugal, Spain, UK or crossing the Atlantic and sailing beyond. Gibraltar is a very handy place for duty free provisioning, refueling or repairs.
Please Note:
To avoid any misunderstandings, When I use the word "new" in the description, I mean since we purchased her in 2013.
