A Rare Carlton Glasstron Classic.
This is a 1978 CV23HT. One of the only 5 boats know to stil be in existence. This is the model used in the James Bond movie "MoonRaker". 95% original, This boat has been in storage over 30 years. All the upholstery is in pristine condition, original from the factory. Floor, stringers,carpet, gelcoat and metalflake factory origional other than clearcoat. Engine is origional, lowtime, 260 merccruiser with origional numbers. Runs Great, did valve job, new manifolds, risers, hoses, belts, new water pump, Thermostat housing, rebuilt carburetor, all origional outdrive serviced with new waterpump. On a 2002 aluminum Floaton Trailer. Extremely rare find in extraordinary condition!

The only basic work left to be done is to install a back stay chain plate and possibly shorten the back stay. The boat is also missing the centerboard, but some people sail this model without one. This 2000 Proline 17' Sport model center console open fisherman. The floor lay-out allows for maximum enjoyment while on the water. The boat is equipped with 12 rod holders, courtesy light, grab rail; seating has large cooler with flip flop backrest, forward cooler seat, am/fm/cd player, full console instrumentation, compass, drink holders, 3 cleats, bilge pump, switch and breaker panel, windshield, live well, electric horn. The upholstery is in very good shape with some stains. Thanks to the textured floor, cleaning is very easy. All of the lights gauges and pumps work. There was a hundred hour inspection/annual inspection done on 28 July 2008 by the dealership. It is powered by a mercury 125hp outboard motor with 3 blade stainless steel prop that runs great! A galvanized single axle trailer with all new tires and 1 new galvanized rim is included. She is rated for 7 people or 1200 lbs. The boat looks great and handles the water very nice while providing a smooth dry ride. |
