The Mediterran e 43 HT features a custom-engineered hardtop that is as eye-catching as it is practical. The large, automatic sunroof slides open to let in the rays on beautiful days. When the sun gets too intense or the weather turns inclement, it closes at the push of a button to create a sheltered wheelhouse.


Italian craftsmanship characterizes the Mediterran e 43 HT's contemporary interior, which has a full-beam VIP mid-cabin rivaling that of any yacht in its size range. An athwartships queen berth, elegant sofa and adjacent head make this stateroom equal to the forward master suite. The salon and galley provide outstanding headroom and all the comforts and conveniences of home.


Twin 435-hp Volvo Penta diesels paired with Volvo's ground-breaking IPS 600 drive system give the 43 HT breathtaking offshore performance. Smooth acceleration throughout the rpm band takes this 45'3" yacht to a top speed of more than 42 mph. What's more, the optional IPS joystick gives the driver fingertip control over the rotating drive system during slow-speed maneuvering, allowing him or her to "walk" the 43 HT sideways to the dock. Cranchi partnered with Volvo Penta to help develop the innovative system, which eliminates any stress over maneuvering in the marina. The Mediterran e 43 HT has the looks and accommodations of a yacht, but is as easy to drive and to dock as a much smaller sportboat.
